The course is aimed at arboriculturists who wish to gain the necessary skills to
complete initial scoping surveys and secondary non specialist surveys, including
endoscope use, as recommended in the new British Standard BS 8596:2015 Surveying
for bats in trees and woodland -
Venue: Durham -
Cost: £100.00 per person (+ VAT @ 20%).
Length of course: 1 day.

Entry requirements: Attendees should be qualified, or training, arboriculturists.
Upon completion of the course a certificate of attendance will be awarded.
The course will be delivered by Barry Anderson who currently holds a Class 2 bat survey license and is registered to use Natural England’s Bat Mitigation Class License (BMCL). Barry is an ecologist and arboriculturist who has also successfully completed an adult teaching/training course.
